A concern has been raised with Edinburgh Leisure about the parking situation at CMP.

The complaint was that at the weekend (on match days) there are a lot of cars parking on the grass and some cars are speeding in/out of the entrance to the park itself, which is a danger to park users. Can we make sure going forward that if parents are parking inside the park they are adhering to a 5 MPH speed limit at all times and should not park on the grass area under any circumstances, only the concrete area outside the lockup can be used for parking.
If the situation does not improve we will have no option but to close the gate completely to parents. If the car park & concrete area is full they should park on the main street or at one of the other 3 entries to the park. As a community club it’s important we are acting responsibly and doing our best in the community for everyone. Stephen Millar
