A very big thank you to all of you who were able to join our EGM on a very cold, dark, rainy and windy Friday night, back in November last year.
And in particular a very big thank you to those who volunteered to step up on to the Committee, going forward.
We had intended to meet again in January or early February but this was not possible because of the COVID Restrictions.
Now that these restrictions have been lifted we plan to meet again on 18th March, to firm up the next stage of our planned committee handover.
You are all very much welcome, particularly those of you who have already volunteered for Committee roles.
Unless you hear otherwise the venue will be upstairs in the Good Companions 7-8pm.
AC Oxgangs Committee

Hi Folks,
This year the club passed the milestone of its 20th Birthday.
Many of you will know that the Committee has been with the club since it began in 2001.
It is now approaching the time when the current committee would want to step down. So, part of the Extraordinary Meeting will focus on how we might have a managed transition.
In particular, we are looking for people to volunteer to replace the committee. In return, the existing committee members will stay on for a short period to provide guidance and support. But ideally, we would like the new committee to be in place by the start of season 2022/23.
We remain extremely fortunate to have the continued involvement of Dan Lee, who as you all know works away quietly and tirelessly behind the scenes year after year. Thankfully Danny has no plans to hang up his boots any time soon and will be a key part of any transition and beyond.
At the meeting, we would also like your input into how we might best navigate a bright but challenging Post-COVID future.
So, please come along on the 29th and encourage other interested and capable parents to come along too.
Regards
Dougie
